This is the 39th year of New England's largest scallop festival. The festival attracts more than 50,000 visitors and has been awarded The American Bus Association's "Top 100 Events in North America". It takes place at Buzzards Bay Park along the banks of the Cape Cod Canal from September 19th - 21st.
Highlights include live musical entertainment, arts and crafts show, Home Expo show, and a midway of rides and games . The highlight, of course, is the food, or more specifically, scallops prepared a variety of ways. A scallop dinner including soda, tax and admission is $18.
