DiParma Italian Table

When visiting Cape Cod and staying at the Tidewater it's nice to have the option of taking a short walk to a restaurant for lunch or dinner. There are several counter service restaurants and sandwich shops within walking distance, but we finally have a wonderful full-serve restaurant a very short walk away. They have been open a couple of months and already have quite a following of locals and tourists. The Zambelis family, who also own and operate the well-known and popular Yarmouth House and Christopher's Restaurant, purchased the old Clancy's Restaurant and transformed it into a warm, cozy Tuscan restaurant.

The outside was totally redone and with its warm colors, columns and stucco look could have come straight from Tuscany. The interior was also extensively revamped and has an informal country Italian look with both tables and comfortable, private booths. The food, of course Italian, ranges from traditional Italian favorites to simply pizza and salad. They present a wonderful large bowl of "insalata" for the entire table with refills on the house. They serve dinner until 10PM but their lounge offers pizza and appetizer until midnight. If you prefer to relax in your room instead of going out to dinner, everything on their menu is available to go. DiParma's is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood.
