Film Festival Weekend

Film buffs, this is the weekend to come to the Cape and enjoy two film festivals: Provincetown's 10 Annual International Film Festival and Nantucket's 13th Annual Film Festival. Both festivals run from June 18th to the 22nd.

Provincetown's festival "showcases independent American and international films, nurturing aspiring independent filmmakers, honoring industry luminaries, and preserving and sustaining cinema as an art form." For details on the festival and listing of movies visit their website, www.ptownfilmfest.org.

Nantucket's festival "screens independent, studio-produced, foreign, documentary and short films in every genre, including US premieres. Films are selected with an eye for great screenwriting and storytelling." In addition to the films there will be staged readings, late night storytelling, panel discussions, and beach screenings! For more information visit their website, www.nantucketfilmfestival.org.

What better location to enjoy the festival than on Cape Cod, before the crowds arrive.
This weekend promises to be beautiful, weather wise, so why not come to enjoy the festival and the beauty and serenity of the Cape.
