Cape Cod Lavender Farm

Cape Cod Lavender farm opened for the season on April 1st. They are located on twenty secluded areas overlooking Island Pond in Harwich.  The farm is also the home of the Sutphin family who own and operate the farm and opened it  to the public in 1995.  It is one of the largest lavender farms on the East Coast and boasts over 14,000 plants. They started by selling lavender plants and loose lavender and now offer more than 20 lavender related product. This year they will be offering their "Harwich Blue", a hardy lavender variety they developed which is especially suited to Cape Cod climate.

The farm, surrounded by conservation land, is a beautiful and peaceful place to spent the day. The perfect time to visit is in late June and early July when the plants are in bloom. Several of our guests at the Tidewater have mentioned the Cape Cod Lavender Farm as a place they love to visit.
