We're still recovering from a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! The weather was glorious and we had almost a full house. After a quiet winter and spring it was wonderful to see the property full of families and children picnicking, playing volleyball, softball and just relaxing on our picnic area. There are soccer tournaments on Memorial Day weekend and this year we had five teams and parents staying with us. Our property is perfect for groups since they're not stuck in their rooms or parking lot at night. The parents were able to enjoy visiting with each other while the kids were playing nearby. The smell of food from the BBQ's was tempting. Overall it was wonderful to see so many people relaxing and enjoy themselves.
Monday we had to hustle to get almost 100 rooms clean as everyone checked out for we were expecting a bus of senior citizens from Baton Rouge. It certainly is much quietier around here this week.
