After a tough New England winter I am sure all you anglers are looking forward to hitting the water and enjoying the outdoors on Cape Cod once again. It is time to break out the rods and reels get ready for fishing! Cape Cod is a popular destination for fishermen. In April and May, we have several large fishing groups that are staying at the Tidewater to spend a few days deep sea fishing. A great time for fishermen to come to the Cape is from May 29th through June 4th for the First Line Fishing Derby. It takes place throughout the Mid Cape and there are several official weigh stations. There are lots of fun events planned including a kick off party at Hyannis Marina, silent auction, semi pro hockey game, live music, food, and much more.
