Maritime Month on Cape Cod

May is Maritme month on Cape Cod.  Lots of fun events during the month...fishing derby and lots of maritime events. Check out the website for the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, http://www.capecodmaritimemuseum.org/ for more information.

On Sunday, May 15th from 10am to 3pm, Race Point Lighthouse will recognize this important event with FREE tours of the Keeper's House, Lighthouse and Whistle House. The Keeper's House was restored to its' original 1950's-era beauty in 1997, and now welcomes visitors from around the world for overnight stays. Views from the top of the restored lighthouse are spectacular, and shouldn't be missed! Maritime Weekend visitors should meet at the lower level of the Race Point Beach parking lot in Provincetown. There, our Suburbans will provide complimentary roundtrip transportation over a stunning two miles of sand to the lighthouse. Light refreshments will also be provided at the Keeper's House. Donations will be graciously accepted. The Race Point Lighthouse Gift Shop will also be open, offering a unique selection of Race Point Lighthouse memorabilia for sale. Visit them online at http://www.racepointlighthouse.net/

The purpose of these free tours is in recognition of Mariner's Weekend and to give the community access to a historical maritime site, including the renovated Race Point Keeper's House and the Race Point Lighthouse, at the Cape Cod National Seashore's Race Point Beach in Provincetown, MA.

It's a Golf Weekend on Cape Cod!

April must be Golf month on Cape Cod. We had two golf groups from Maine 2 weeks ago and this weekend we have 4 golf groups on our property. They have almost the entire building in the back which overlooks the picnic area (40 rooms)! Golfers on the Cape can play almost year round and it seems that our northern friends are golf deprived and are anxious to hit the golf greens. It's easy to plan a golf getaway at the Tidewater: just give us your dates, number of people, golf course preferences (or we can choose) and we do all the work for you. Your group just comes down and enjoys a day of golf, relaxing around the pool, grilling in our picnic area, or dinner out at one of the wonderful restaurants on the Cape.

Give us a call at 508-775-6322 and let us plan your golf getaway for you.
