If you're visiting Cape Cod during February school vacation the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies has a wonderful program for young scientists. A new program for school children, School Vacation Ocean Exploration, will launch in February. PCCS will present two-hour programs, led by Mechling, from February 16th through February 19th, at locations throughout the Outer Cape. Mechling explains, “Through games, activities, investigations, and arts and crafts, children will discover the undersea world of Cape Cod.”

Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Presents "First Things First"
From January 9th to February 6th, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod presents "First Things First", an art exhibit of over 50 established Cape Cod artists. Happy New Year!
Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve. We at the Tidewater extend our sincerest wishes for a healthy and peaceful 2010.
It's very quiet on Cape Cod today after a very busy New Year's weekend. So far it's raining with no snow yet. Everyone is going home to prepare for the workweek and back to the routine. We'll be spending these quiet days sprucing up the hotel. Just finished a beautiful beach scene mural on one of our walls in the pool room, courtesy of my engineer/artist husband, Mike. Very bright and colorful and reminds us why we love to visit the Cape.
